For years I have relied on the 14th edition of this fine book to answer many of my paint-testing questions, but a lot has changed in the industry since it was published in 1995. About the Author
Dr. Joseph V. Koleske is a retired Corp0orate Research Fellow from Union Carbide Corp. in So. Charleston, W.V. After retiremetn he was a Senior consultatn for Consolidated Research, Inc. in Charleston, WV. He has been a member of ASTM Internationa, the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology, and the Universsity of Minnesota's CIE and has served on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Coatings Technology.
Dr Koleske received his B.S. (CHE) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Institute of Paper Chemistry, Lawrence College, Appleton, WI.
He holds more than 1000 patents and is the author of coauthr of more than 100 journal articles, book chapters, and books.
